Matthew Thiesen, MLS

Welcome to the New Charter University Library! I am Matthew Thiesen, the University Librarian at New Charter University. I have been an academic librarian for about seven years and have worked for seminary and university libraries in California and Oregon. I have completed an M.A. in Exegetical Theology (Western Seminary) and an M.S. in Library Science (University of North Texas). I am an active member of the American Theological Library Association and have presented several times at ATLA Conferences. I love working with students, helping them explore the world of information and research, and developing their information literacy skills. I look forward to partnering with you and discovering how the library can support your academic endeavors here are New Charter.

The library provides you with thousands of resources, all available online, geared to meet your academic and research needs. Whether you are trying to narrow down a topic, find enough data for that next research paper, or perhaps looking for some assistance in doing research or using the library databases, the library is ready and able to help. Log in to the library page through Canvas to begin your research or contact the librarian for assistance at [email protected].
